After the great success with THE BOOK OF STORIES, AB Music Academy returns with a new original musical, THE CAMP.
THE CAMP, composed and directed by Dragoş Moştenescu, is a musical play centered on life and it is created for teenagers between 13-16 years old. It is a romantic and comical story about a class of 12 students with very good results in school. As a reward for that, their maths teacher, Mr. Hopkins offers them a three days camp in the woods, at the end of the week.
During that short camp, relationships change, teens learn how to cope with downsides of their age, while they get attacked by fake bears and have a lot of good times.
On their way back home, the teacher preaches the lesson they have learnt during this camp: stick with your decision in life, do not attempt to take anyone’s best friend, speak the truth out loud because it’ll come out anyway, and be honest with yourself, then you will easily be with the others.
The 10 songs especially composed for this musical completes the show, which is ready to welcome gifted and passionate boys and girls.
This is a three months project, which ends with a stage performance, on the 23rd of June.
The intensive course combines acting and music coaching and gives the performer a chance to go through the entire process of building up a professional show.
Weekly sessions are 90 minutes long. Price is £40/session, monthly payment.
Casting on the 17th of February at 3pm at 3 Eastman Road, W3 7YG, AB Music Academy.
